MINASE 20th Anniversary Fair CONTÉVANOU
MINASE 20th Anniversary Fair
Dates: October 30 (Thu) – November 10 (Mon), 2025
Featuring Collaboration Works with Contemporary Artist Towa Takaya and Limited 20th Anniversary Models
Art Meets Craftsmanship — A New Expression of Time by MINASE
At CONTÉVANOU, an authorized watch and jewelry atelier located in Yoyogi, Tokyo,
a special exhibition will be held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the independent Japanese watch brand MINASE.
The fair will feature two highlights:
an art collaboration with contemporary artist Towa Takaya,
and the unveiling of the 20th Anniversary Limited Edition models that embody MINASE’s timeless philosophy —
"Manufacturing that will be talked about even 100 years from now."
Through the fusion of art and craftsmanship, visitors are invited to experience the quiet beauty and refined precision that define MINASE’s unique vision of Japanese watchmaking.
Collaboration with Artist Towa Takaya
Towa Takaya Art Work
— “Sculpting Time” as Contemporary Art
Towa Takaya, a contemporary artist internationally recognized for exploring the relationship between light and time,
joins forces with MINASE in an artistic dialogue that redefines what a timepiece can represent.
At the heart of this collaboration is the JAPAN ART COLLECTION “Yūsai” Dial —
a poetic expression of depth and serenity, where layered colors and delicate gradations evoke the eternal flow of time.
Each hue, meticulously applied, interacts with light to reveal subtle shifts in tone,
reflecting the beauty of impermanence that lies within every passing moment.
When placed within MINASE’s flawlessly polished Zaratsu-finished case,
the “Yūsai” dial transcends function, transforming the watch into a work of art —
a small universe that captures the rhythm of time itself.

about CONTÉVANOU
Nestled quietly in the residential streets of Yoyogi’s Nishisando district,
CONTÉVANOU is an atelier dedicated to fine watches and jewelry.
The name “Contévanou” derives from Continuous Concept —
the flowing connection of case and bracelet seen in vintage Patek Philippe designs —
and from the French phrase “comptoir de travail,” meaning “a place with a workbench.”
At CONTÉVANOU, every service — from battery replacement to full restoration —
is guided by an artisan’s eye and respect for the object’s life.
We see repair not as a task, but as a dialogue with time itself.
Through traditional craftsmanship and a forward-looking philosophy,
the atelier continues to bridge heritage and innovation —
where time and beauty are quietly crafted, day by day.
