The Promenade Transparencies "Viridian Green" is a special model born from the collaboration between Czapek and Fratello, a global watch media.
Out of a limited edition of 50 pieces worldwide, only one has been allocated for Japan. This is a truly unique Czapek, not part of the regular domestic lineup, with no plans for additional stock.
Viridian Green, where transparency and depth coexist
What defines this watch's impression is the "Viridian Green" sapphire dial, also featured in the model's name.
Viridian is not just any green. It is a clear, bluish green that, depending on the angle, can also show a deeply receding expression, making it a color with remarkable depth.
The gradient, spreading from the center to the outer edge of the dial, transitions from a transparent, pale green to a rich, deep green. When light enters, the skeleton movement beneath the sapphire subtly floats into view, creating a single tableau of color and mechanical structure.
Beautiful negative space unique to Promenade
The appeal of Promenade is not just its beauty. The small seconds sub-dial positioned at 4:30, the transparent space extending from it, and the green that deepens towards the outer edge.
This "use of negative space" is very characteristic of Czapek.
Rather than overtly showcasing the mechanics like a typical skeleton watch, it elegantly layers light, color, depth, and the contours of the movement.
It is flamboyant yet possesses a certain stillness. This balance is precisely the charm of the Promenade Transparencies.
In-house Caliber SXH7.1 breathing under the sapphire
Visible beneath the dial is Czapek's in-house skeleton automatic movement, Caliber SXH7.1.
It features black sandblasted bridges, hand-chamfered finishing, and an automatic winding mechanism with a micro-rotor. In contrast to the dial's transparency, the movement's finishing is powerful, giving it a modern impression.
With approximately 60 hours of power reserve, it offers sufficient practicality for daily use. Artistic appearance and mechanical perfection as a timepiece are well-balanced.
Elegant 38mm size
The case diameter is 38mm. With balanced proportions of 10.8mm thickness and 42mm lug-to-lug, it avoids an overly assertive presence despite being a skeleton watch.
The green Cordura strap naturally harmonizes with the Viridian Green dial, achieving an exquisite balance that is neither too dressy nor too sporty.
