Tutima PATRIA: Glashütte's finest hand-wound wristwatch
Tutima's new hand-wound watch "Patria" features a striking small second hand
The flagship "Patria" series, created by the prestigious Tutima of Glashütte, Germany, with a deep connection to its hometown, features a large small seconds hand and a guilloched dial.
The highly anticipated hand-wound movement Cal.617
Returning to Glashütte in 2008, this is the brand's first model equipped with a movement made entirely in-house, and it took five years to complete from conception to release.

3/4 plate
The traditional German Glashütte 3/4 plate (three-quarter plate) is eye-catching. Thanks to the plate covering a large area, the stability and robustness of the movement are increased, allowing for safe daily use. The Glashütte stripe (striped pattern ) can be applied as decoration and can be enjoyed through the see-through back.
Breguet balance spring
This watch uses a mainspring developed by Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet, in which the end of the spring is raised and curved inward, making the balance spring concentric and improving accuracy.
Free Sprang
This mechanism can stably maintain the high accuracy used in high-end watches. It does not use a regulator to adjust the speed of the watch, but controls it using the moment of inertia of the balance. The key point is that it has small error and is resistant to deterioration over time.

Gold Chaton
This is a structure in which the ruby bearing stone is set in a gold base and screwed in place. The word "chaton" means the "seat" that supports the stone. Gold has the property of being sticky, making it difficult for the bearing stone to shift position.
Kohaze (ratchet type)
Furthermore, the locking mechanism (the part that prevents the watch from returning to its original position when winding) on the left side of the image above is a ratchet type, which prevents loss of torque when winding and provides a satisfying clicking sensation. This will make you feel even more attached to your hand-wound watch.
Double assembly
The Tutima Cal. 617 is assembled in a very time-consuming way, as the movement is first assembled, checked, and adjusted, and then reassembled.
Guilloche dial and slightly larger small seconds
The dial features a guilloche pattern, which changes its appearance depending on the angle from which you look at it. The slightly larger small seconds hand also adds to the vintage feel that's popular these days. The watch is water resistant to 5 bar, making it safe for everyday use.
Beautiful grade 5 titanium case
The case is made of grade 5 titanium, which is lighter, stronger, and more corrosion-resistant than stainless steel, making it suitable for those with metal allergies. Grade 5 titanium has a lustrous finish similar to stainless steel and can be polished for long-lasting use.
