This is a reproduction model of an aviation chronograph manufactured by Lavoie in the 1940s. It features a bicompax dial with slim indexes and a pulsometer. The horizontal layout of the 30-minute counter at the 3 o'clock position and the small second at the 9 o'clock position gives it the appeal of a vintage chronograph design.

Dodane is a French watchmaker founded in 1857. In 1934, Raymond Dodane, the third generation of the company, established Lavoie as a new brand separate from Dodane, and also founded Airen. Airen was one of the selected suppliers of the pilot chronograph " Type 20 " model issued by the French Ministry of Defense. At the time, Airen Watches passed the rigorous screening required for Type 20 , and left their mark on the history of French military aviation watches as reliable, high-quality watches. After a hiatus of several decades, the brand was revived by producing a limited number of watches while faithfully adhering to the original design.
