Collection: Tutima Glashütte

Tutima Glashütte

Tutima Glashütte is a watch company founded in Glashütte, Germany, in 1845. Initially, the company aimed to create high-quality watches that could rival Swiss brands. After World War II, the company relocated to western Germany and remains a leading German watchmaker to this day. The highest-precision watches manufactured in Glashütte by UROFA and UFAG at the time were given the name " TUTIMA," derived from the Latin adjective "tutus," meaning "safe." While the company continued to manufacture and sell watches featuring movements from other manufacturers, Delecate's management skills helped the company survive the quartz crisis of the 1970s, and in 1983 the company was renamed TUTIMA , a name it continues to use today.

TUTIMA

In April 2013, the brand will present to its connoisseurs four entirely new watch families: Saxon One, Grand, Flieger, M2 and Patria. These have one feature: they form the first Tutima collection to be made in Glashütte for the first time in 68 years. These watches are proof: a step back can also pave the way for the future. That is why Tutima is called the Instrument of Glashütte.
